This Certificate is offered to individuals seeking to obtain a credential which will satisfy part of the educational requirements set by various state licensing boards, including the Idaho Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.

1 Students seeking to practice in Idaho and other Public Land Survey System states are advised to take GEMT 3312 Public Land Surveying. Students who will practice in states where the United States Public Land Survey System is not established are advised to take GEMT 3314 Research and Evidence.
2 Additional electives may be taken to fulfill state licensure requirements according to the student’s location.
3 Advanced subject matter electives related to the surveying/geomatics profession other than those listed will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
