Recommended Certificate

The B.A. in Sociology with Criminology Concentration Program recommends that students also complete the Certificate in Forensic Sciences, the coursework for which overlaps substantially with the above major requirements.

Optional Double Major

The B.A. in Sociology with Criminology Concentration Program coordinates with the B.S. in Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) program to offer students the option of pursuing both majors with overlapping coursework. For students who are pursuing both majors, HSEM Upper Division courses may be used to satisfy the Upper Division Free Electives requirement for the B.A. in Sociology with Criminology Concentration Program.
