Language, Literature, History and Culture Concentration9
This area of concentration is for those wishing to pursue in-depth area studies in one specific part of the world focusing on language, literature, history, and culture of areas other than the United States. It is limited to concentrations in French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish. Students selecting this concentration prepare for careers in the foreign service, global public service, international development, or education. Choose nine (9) credits of upper division Global Studies courses that have not been used to fulfill another program requirement or speak to your major advisor about what other courses may be used. Additionally, the senior thesis/capstone must be on a topic in language, literature and culture to be approved by the advisor.
All required courses must be completed with a minimum grade of C- (C minus).
