L2- Students will be able to recall the various elements of contract law and evaluate fact patterns to determine the existence of a contract, breach of contract, and damages related thereto. This goal is evaluated by exams.
L3- Students will be able to recall the elements of negligence, assault, battery, and interference with contract and use these elements to evaluate fact patterns to determine if negligence, assault, battery, or interference with contract occurred. This goal is evaluated by exams.
L4- Students will be able to recall the various types of business entities, the legal protections they afford owners, organizational formalities, and tax consequences and evaluate a fact pattern to determine the appropriate entity type for various types of businesses. This goal is evaluated by exams.
L5- Students will be able to recall the elements of various intellectual property laws and use them to evaluate whether a breach of intellectual property laws has occurred in various fact patterns. This goal is evaluated by exams.
