B.S. Nursing - R.N. Completion

Program Admission Requirements

Before applying to the BSN Completion program:

  • Students must either
    • 1) Possess an associate degree in nursing, or
    • 2) Be enrolled in an associate degree in nursing program.
  • Students must have a minimum combined GPA of  "C" (2.0) in their previous nursing-specific courses.
  • Every prospective student must meet with the Nursing advisor to be eligible to apply to the program.

The following courses may be taken either before students begin the BSN Completion program, or as co-requisite courses during the BSN Completion program. 

Students must have a grade of “C" (2.0) or better in the Prerequisite/Corequisite Courses listed below.
BIOL 2229Introduction to Pathobiology3

Students in the BSN Completion program must fulfill all university General Education requirements in order to earn the BSN degree. Many, if not all, of the General Education requirements will have been met while earning the associate's degree in nursing.

Major Requirements

Students must maintain a combined GPA of "C" (2.0) in all nursing classes. Failure to do so will result in removal from the program.
